Obtain Feature Keys

Follow these steps to request and obtain the Feature Key activation file for your Milltronics machine tool.

Export the Feature Key Request File

1.      Insert a USB thumb drive into the machine.

It’s best to have just one thumb drive inserted for this operation. (Remove the device in USB0 on the ITX rack in the electrical cabinet)

2.      From the Main DGI Desktop window, press F10-Utility.

3.      Press F10-Features.

4.      Press F1-Request.

Note the location to which the Feature Keys request file (file extension .fke) was written.

Obtain the Feature Key Activation File

1.      E-mail the Feature Keys request file created above to [email protected].

Please include the following details with your request:

a.      The Customer Name

b.      Machine Serial Number

c.       Reason for request (expired codes, new feature purchase, hardware change)

2.      A response containing your Feature Key(s) (file extension .fki) will be sent to you by return e-mail.

3.      Save this file to a USB thumb drive.

Import the Feature Key file into DGI

1.      Insert the USB thumb drive containing the Feature Keys file into the machine. It’s best to have just one thumb drive inserted for this operation.

2.      From the Main DGI window, press F10-Utility.

a.       Press F10-Features.

b.      Press F5-Import. The expiration times for the feature will be updated.

3.      Reinsert the USB0 device in the ITX rack in the electrical cabinet.
